The recently revealed adidas NMD_R2 silhouette is set to launch pretty soon with a newly added colorway to the model's selection. Following the news of its White/Core Red edition, it'll be contrasted via a Black/Core Red iteration which hosts the same Core Red detailing on its outsole, heel tab and medial EVA inserts. Its obvious difference is the black coloring found on its Primeknit upper and laces. The NMD_R2′s upgraded pattern on its upper is complemented by adidas's Three Stripe branding on each lateral and medial side. It gives a more substantial look and feel while promising the best in durability. Be sure to leave us a comment and let us know your thoughts below.
Another unique feature on this design is the embossed pattern throughout. This lined imprint gives a subtle contrast to the otherwise black crafted upper. Welded three stripes make an appearance across the sidewall and a leather crafted heel overlay sits at the rear.
Bringing some much needed colour to an otherwise dark silhouette, this shoe is stamped with touches of vibrant red at the heel and outsole. The conventional Boost unit makes an appearance but an embossed pattern features in place of the EVA midsole plug on the outsole wall. However, this is made up for with an oversized plug on the inner wall.
The adidas NMD R2 Black Red is scheduled to release on Wednesday 5th April via the retailers listed. Stay glued to our Twitter page for more updates and stockist alerts on the run up to release.
